KAJI Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective March 10, 2023.
This Privacy Policy explains how Kaji, Inc., a Washington corporation (“Kaji,” “we”, “us,” or “our”) works with, collects, uses, shares and protects information in relation to our services, including our website, our application, and other services that link to this Privacy Policy (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy also explains your choices about the collection and use of your information. Your access to and use of the Services are conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with this Privacy Policy located at https://kaji.life/privacy and the Terms of Service, located at https://kaji.life/tos (the “Terms of Use”). By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
1. INFORMATION COLLECTED.
Information You Provide Directly to Us
You provide information to us when you:

Book a workshop or retreat through the Services;

Download, stream, view, or use content on a device or through a service or application;

Provide information in your account;

Configure your settings on, provide data access permissions for, or interact with the Services;

Communicate with us by phone, email, chat features, or otherwise;

Complete a survey, a support ticket, or a chat entry or reply;

Participate in community features, providing likes, reviews and ratings.
As a result of those actions, you might supply us with such information as: your name, address and phone number, IP address; payment information; your age; your location information; and content of reviews and emails to us.
Automatic Information We Collect and Analyze:
We automatically collect and analyze the following information:

When you communicate with us (including any chats, emails, or other messages you send to us) (collectively, “User Content”), we may collect your name, contact information, and the contents of any messages you send;

Kaji Service metrics (e.g., the occurrences of technical errors, your interactions with Service features and content, your settings preferences and backup information, and location of your device running an application);

Purchase and content use history, which we sometimes aggregate with similar information from other customers to create Service features, like “most popular” content;

The full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through, and from our website (including date and time); cookie number; products and/or content you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs); and

Phone numbers used to call our customer service number.
Location Information:
When you use the Services we may collect information about your location using methods that include, but may not limited to, GPS, wireless networks, cell towers and Wi-Fi access points. Such location information will be used for the sole purpose of providing and improving the Services. Kaji will not use the location data for any other purpose and will use commercially reasonable efforts measured by industry standards to protect such location information.
Analytics information:
We use third-party analytics tools to measure traffic and usage trends for the Services (“Analytics Information”). These analytics tools collect Analytics Information sent by your device or our Services, and assist us in improving the Services. We collect, use, and analyze the Analytics Information in aggregate, non-identifiable form, so that the Analytics Information does not identify any particular individual user.
Cookies and similar technologies:
We use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about how you use the Services, and to help us provide the Services to you.
Device Identifiers:
When you use a mobile device to access our Services, we may access, collect, monitor, store on your device, and/or remotely store one or more "device identifiers." Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored on or associated with your mobile device, which uniquely identify your mobile device. A device identifier may be data stored in connection with the device hardware, data stored in connection with the device's operating system or other software, or data sent to the device by Kaji. A device identifier may deliver information to us or to a third-party partner about how you browse and use the Services and may help us or others provide reports or personalized content and ads. Some features of the Services may not function properly if use or availability of device identifiers is impaired or disabled.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
In addition to some of the specific uses of collected information that we describe in this Privacy Policy, we may also use such information to:

We also may share your information and User Content with third-party organizations that help us provide the Services to you ("Service Providers"). Our Service Providers will be given access to your information under reasonable confidentiality terms, and will only be given access to your information as is necessary for such Services Providers to assist us in providing the Services to you.
We will share your information and User Content in response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so.
We may share your information and User Content in connection with any proposed or actual purchase, sale, lease, merger, assignment, re-organization, or financing of all or any portion of our business, assets or equity interests.
We may also share certain information such as cookie data with third-party advertising partners. This information would allow third-party ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you.

Parties with whom you may choose to share your User Content:
Any information or content that you voluntarily post to the Services, such as User Content, becomes available to Kaji to re-share publicly. To change your privacy settings on the Services, please log into the Services and changing your profile settings in your account. Once you have shared User Content through the Services or otherwise made it public, that User Content may be re-shared by others.
If you remove information that you posted to the Services, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the Services, or if other users or third parties have copied or saved that information.
4. HOW WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION
Your information collected through the Services may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Kaji, its affiliates or Service Providers maintain facilities.
Kaji, its affiliates, or Service Providers may transfer information that we collect about you, including personal information, across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that we may transfer information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction.
By registering for and using the Services, you consent to the transfer of information to the U.S. or to any other country in which Kaji, its affiliates, or Service Providers maintain facilities and the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy.
However, Kaji cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to Kaji or guarantee that information on the Services may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password and account information, and for controlling access to any electronic communications between you and Kaji at all times. Your privacy settings may also be affected by changes the social media services you connect to Kaji make to their services. We are not responsible for the functionality, privacy, or security measures of any other organization.
5. HOW WE KEEP YOUR DATA SECURE
Any time data moves between your device and our databases, we encrypt it to keep it secure. Protecting information about our customers is key to our business and we are not in the business of selling your personal information to others.
6. YOUR CHOICES ABOUT YOUR INFORMATION
Your account information and profile/privacy settings: Update your account at any time by logging into the Services and changing your profile settings. Unsubscribe from email communications from us by clicking on the "unsubscribe link" provided in such communications.
How long we keep your information and User Content: Following termination or deactivation of your account, Kaji, its affiliates, or its Service Providers may retain your information (and User Content for backup, archival, audit purposes), and as otherwise necessary to operate the Services.
Your Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password and account information, and for controlling access to any electronic communications between you and Kaji at all times.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Kaji does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Services. The Services and its content are not directed at children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us.
8. OTHER WEB SITES AND SERVICES
We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from our Services, including the information or content contained within them. Please remember that when you use a link to go from our Services to another website or service, our Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites or services. Your browsing and interaction on any third-party website or service, including those that have a link on our website, are subject to that third party's own rules and policies. In addition, you agree that we are not responsible and do not have control over any third-parties that you authorize to access your User Content. If you are using a third-party website or service and you allow them to access your User Content you do so at your own risk.

10. HOW TO CLOSE AND DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT
You can delete your account permanently by going to the Kaji app Settings screen, choosing the Account tab and tapping delete.
11. WHAT IF YOU WANT KAJI TO DELETE YOUR DATA
You can delete your account and your associated data permanently by going to the Kaji app Settings screen, choosing the Account tab and tapping delete. Please keep in mind that if you delete your Kaji account, you will not be able to access previous purchases.
12. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
Kaji may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time so please review it periodically. We may also provide you direct notice of such modifications or updates, as appropriate under certain circumstances, but are under no obligation to do so. Your continued use of the Services after any modification or update to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such modification or update.
